Rules for Myself

These are the rules that I will be following this July.

- All rules shall be accompanied by additional information in brackets. (I just like talking)

- A comic page is one fully written and drawn page (rough sketches allowed)

- Only count the pages that have been started and finished after July 1st but before July 31st. (In case that wasn't obvious)

- All pages will be drawn on printer paper. (I'm poor. It's not even new printer paper)

- A blog update should be made everyday in July, then stop until next July. (Excluding announcements that I'm starting up again, which will be made a week before July)

- On my Birthday, I shall take pictures and post them. (How else will I celebrate my birthday?)

- I do this to keep myself working hard on something I've been wanting to do for a long while. (I've been planning this for years)

Day Six

Since there was nothing really happening as I was at my friend's, I didn't see any point in posting any results. I was planning what I would write/draw during my time off from all work, but it wasn't until today that I've drawn anything.

But unlike the past five days, I've actually gotten some work done. I have two pages sketched out and so far it's going exactly how I pictured it. But it's a little hard to do surrealism when I have a very literal mind. I tend to look at metaphors in a more literal light, so some of what I'm trying to do is a little hard. At least it's still in the rough sketch stage. I still have a lot of work before I feel like showing it to anyone.

I'm still ten pages behind on what I should be, but things don't have to be perfect just yet. I still have a lot of time. But now that I'm home and can work on this in the solitude of my own house, I'm feeling pretty good about it.
