Rules for Myself

These are the rules that I will be following this July.

- All rules shall be accompanied by additional information in brackets. (I just like talking)

- A comic page is one fully written and drawn page (rough sketches allowed)

- Only count the pages that have been started and finished after July 1st but before July 31st. (In case that wasn't obvious)

- All pages will be drawn on printer paper. (I'm poor. It's not even new printer paper)

- A blog update should be made everyday in July, then stop until next July. (Excluding announcements that I'm starting up again, which will be made a week before July)

- On my Birthday, I shall take pictures and post them. (How else will I celebrate my birthday?)

- I do this to keep myself working hard on something I've been wanting to do for a long while. (I've been planning this for years)

Day One

There were a few things that I imagined the first day would work out. I would sit down on my bed with a piece of paper, I would scribble down a few boxes to get an idea on how the layout would look like, and then I would write and draw the first three or four pages of my comic.

Well, I'm not on my bed. I'm not even in the house that my bed lives in. I've decided to start this comic book writing challenge at my friends house. Partly because she's having trouble breathing at night and partly because she guilted me into it. Another thing is that I haven't even touched a piece of paper today, not counting the clutter of notes my friend has laying around.

So, 15 hours into my personal challenge, and I'm already getting lazy. But to be fair, I haven't been able to sleep well for a long while, and I saw a dead cat today.

I'll try to get at least one page done before I collapse by the end of today. Fingers crossed.
